The Specialty Legend
Though the shirt box business was short-lived, the vision of creating a specialty packaging company lived on through Sam’s son, Leonard, and later my father, David.
What started as a family venture has grown into a legacy of innovation, resilience, and creativity. From department stores to mom-and-pop retailers, and now to restaurants and global brands, we’ve evolved to meet the needs of businesses across industries.

Our Journey
In 1993 the third generation of the Fialkoff family joined the business, expanding into catalogs, candy packaging, and new ventures like CustomTakeOutBags and The Packaging Café.
By 2002, Specialty Box was navigating through challenging times with a renewed focus on growth and creativity.
Our restaurant packaging solutions flourished, earning us partnerships with industry giants like Staples, Sysco Food Service, and Edward Don.
In 2018, the last of the Fialkoff brothers, Josh, joined the team to help scale the company for the future.
Together with our incredible team, we continue to grow while staying true to our values of kindness, community, and innovation.
